At Behruz Studio, 1509 Malvern Road (Glen Iris Vic 3146) there is an interesting display of textiles of the Tai people of Nghê An Province, in the northern part of Vietnam bordering Laos. All of the items on display belong to Melbourne collector Russell Howard, who has provided informative labeling for the items and a few photographs from his travels.
The items are on show until 26 June. Well worth half an hour if you are in the area.
