Bailey on Menuhin – Canberra events

In Yehudiana: Reliving the Menuhin Oddysey I introduced Philip Bailey’s superb biography of Yehudi Menuhin, one of the towering figures of a great age of music making, a great nurturer of rising musicians, and a great humanitarian. Philip knew Menuhin well, having worked with him for over twenty years.

During July Philip will be speaking about Menuhin at the following events in Canberra:

13 July: Canberra U3A Book Group, Irish Club, Weston, 1.45pm.

22 July: Canberra U3A Music Appreciation Group, Belconnen Community Centre, 1.30pm.

23 July: Canberra U3A Literature Group, Belconnen Community Centre, 10am.

Philip is an entertaining and lively speaker, so if you have an opportunity to catch up on any of these events you will not be disappointed.

Events organisers are invited to make enquiries by phoning (02) 4885 1653.
